O.k. here is one of my favourite stir fry recipes for you to try out!
I love stir-fry’s because they are quick and easy and also very nutritious and a great way to get a good quality protein in along with your favourite vegetables.
Ingredients;
- Lean beef strips
- Mixture of chopped up vegetables (red onion, red capsicum, green beans, spinach, celery, carrot, broccoli etc.)
- Small amount of grinded ginger
- 1/2tsp minced garlic
- 1T olive oil
- 1T good quality Oyster sauce
Method;
- Get your wok nice and hot then add the olive oil
- Add your ginger and garlic
- Add your beef strips and cook until golden brown
- Add your vegetables and only let them cook for a short while so they are nice and crispy
- Then at the end pour your oyster sauce over the top
- Serve up on the plate!
A quick and easy healthy meal for your dinner time. If you want a little extra carbohydrate you can add some whole-wheat noodles, brown rice or basmati rice as a side dish. You can also change the protein to lean skinless chicken, prawns or tuna. And to save you even more time, you can get from the frozen section of your supermarket a pre prepared stir fry vegetable mix so it saves you from doing all the chopping!
